It has been more than a decade…

since I first started chasing my dreams and started a business and personal brand. I had no idea what the future held for me but I knew that it had potential. The past decade has been a dream come true for not only myself but the community I’ve been able to build in tandem.

Through this work, I have been able to team up with brands beyond my wildest dreams. Finding brands that share the same heart for storytelling and vulnerability has made this a wonderful experience. I only partner with companies I have a strong affinity or deep passion for and truly use. This means that my audience trusts that I’m sharing things that don’t just clutter their feed but will add value to their lives too.

Encouraging inclusive speaker lineups, presentation content, and attendee management practices are all critical components of a well-run event. My ask to you is that if I am not the only speaker at an event, the lineup is as diverse and representative as possible. In fact, my contract makes this a requirement of my participation!

Dannie Lynn Fountain is a multipassionate human - by day, she’s a Disability Accommodations Program Manager at Google and by night she supports clients and brands with HR-focused diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. Her focus is on expanding disability inclusion within DEIB efforts by equipping people with the tools to craft change within their own situations, regardless of their seniority at work or authority within their team.
